Adult Learning Center at Community Action, Inc. is seeking applicants for a part-time ESOL/ESL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) instructor for low to intermediate students. The Instructor will provide group and individual instruction to adult learners, participate in curriculum and program development, have the ability to adapt teaching styles and materials to meet the individual needs of students, and model lifelong learning to students. The ideal candidate will create rigorous, creative and dynamic lessons that are relevant to the needs and goals of the students.
The position is 9 hours per week/$24.10 per hour, Mon/Wed 8:30am to 1:00pm. The hours include prep time. The position is seasonal (school year/34 weeks per year).
This position requires a background record check. The position will remain open until filled.
