Employer training programs on two topics to be presented in November and December—register now!
Be sure to register at least 5 business days before your preferred session. Space is limited, so if you register and cannot attend, please notify us as soon as possible. If needed based on demand, we will schedule additional sessions and notify you of their availability.

1) For reps who are NEW to their MTRS responsibilities: Introduction to the MTRS
Anyone is welcome to attend this program, but it is designed for staff who are new to their MTRS responsibilities and who may benefit from a broad overview of MTRS topics. Topics include:
- MTRS eligibility
- Deduction rates
- Deduction reporting requirements
- Service purchase and retirement application requirements
- Retiree insurance basics
- Working after retirement
Choose from these sessions (doors open 30 minutes before):
- MTRS Charlestown Office: Wednesday, November 14, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm (limited to 40 participants)
- MTRS Charlestown Office: Monday, December 3, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm (limited to 40 participants)
- MTRS Springfield Office: Tuesday, November 27, 8:30 am to 11:30 am (limited to 30 participants)
2) Deduction Reporting in MyTRS
- Using the Service Correction Codes properly
- Interpreting the Exceptions Report
- Navigating the Deduction Report Editor
- Fixing errors and exceptions
- Creating adjustment records
