The MTRS is pleased to announce our website's new MTRS News section, prominently featured and accessible on our homepage. We will post news in an as-it-happens format, allowing us to quickly publish important updates and conserve natural resources and costs associated with printing and delivering a physical newsletter.
For nearly 40 years we have published The Advisor, a newsletter containing information that is important to you, a valued member of the MTRS. Though The Advisor originally started as a physically mailed newsletter, for the past eight years we have only mailed physical copies to a small group of retirees for whom we did not have a valid email address. We will continue to mail smaller and more efficient critical news mailings to our members who do not have a computer or email address.
Of course, we will continue to send out broadcast emails to ensure that you receive essential news updates, and mail important documents related to your benefits. As always, we encourage you to visit
