All 1099-R tax forms are now in transit to all individuals who received a benefit payment from the MTRS in 2025. Please allow some time for the USPS to deliver. Along with your tax form, you will receive an insert that includes information on how to read your 1099-R as well as the pension payment schedule for 2026.

If you do not receive your 1099-R by February 23, 2026:
- you may access your 1099-R in MyTRS, our online member account system. Go to MyTRS member sign in for more details, or
- call our main office at 617-679-6877 to request a duplicate.
As a reminder, you will NOT receive a blue-and-yellow Benefit Verification form this year, as we are not conducting this process in 2026.
