Adding comments before saving other changes to a record will delete those changes.
Important Deduction Reporting Workaround
The MTRS has become aware of a minor issue in the Edit Deduction Report Details screen of MyTRS. If you add and save a comment, it will delete any other changes made on that screen that have not already been applied. For example, if you add a service correction code to a record and then add a comment before applying the changes to the employee’s record, your service correction code (and any other changes) will be erased.
To avoid this, be sure to press Apply on any changes before you add any comments to the report.
