In-person and virtual “Ready for Retirement” seminars to be held in December!
We are pleased to announce the return of our in-person seminars at select schools, along with an online option. This program is for MTRS members who are close to retirement and want more information about pre-retirement considerations and the retirement process and timeline.
“Ready for Retirement” topics include:
- pre-retirement considerations,
- retirement benefit options and calculations,
- how to apply for retirement,
- various issues you need to consider in retirement, including health insurance coverage, taxation of your retirement benefit, the rules on working after retirement—and more!
